Reus Airport Information

Reus Airport is located 3 km southeast of the city and 13 km from the Tarragona city centre.

Air traffic is characterised by a large number of international charter  flights and low cost airlines with cheap airfares (although the figures for scheduled and non-scheduled flights are  balancing out each year) and by its seasonal nature between May and October. The  European Union passengers who use charter flights are mostly from the United Kingdom. Scheduled flights are primarily to London-Stansted, London-Luton,  Frankfurt, Liverpool and Dublin.

Thanks to the "low cost" airlines, Reus Airport has grown considerably in the  last two years, with traffic levels reaching 1,305,894 passengers, 25,699 operations and 11 tonnes of freight in 2007.

In order to adapt Reus Airport to future air traffic demands, Aena is currently constructing a new terminal building for check-in, between the  arrivals building and the current terminal building, which is being adapted for  use as a departures terminal.

Salou is the centre of the Costa Dorada and one of the most popular holiday hot spots in Spain.  If you want all night dancing you have it there together with a wide range of bars, discos and restaurants.

Sitges has a preserved its fishing village and cultural heritage. The old town is based on a small headland with the walls of a medieval fortress and various museums surrounding an old church. The town has some impressive architecture with narrow sloping streets, the sea front is lined with palms and the promenade has a Californian feel to it .
